Dead Snow
Colin The no-budget masterpiece introduced by director Marc Price. Colin is bitten, dies and returns zombified. We follow his journey through suburban London as the apocalypse opens up around him. Brilliantly realised and affectingly acted, Colin has not only achieved cult status, but also pointed the way to get films made for new talent in all genres.
28 Days Later Before muli-Oscar winning glory for Slumdog Millionaire, Danny Boyle gave us this vision of a Britain overrun by infected millions as the ‘Rage’ virus consumes everything in its path. Shot digitally, with a stunning impression of a wrecked modern day London and empty motorways, this spawned a successful sequel with a 3rd offering said to be on the way.
The third of Romero’s zombie classics. Set in a military compound with the zombie hordes massing beyond the security fence, the surviving soldiers and scientists clash over what to do next. Minds, limbs and innards are lost as humanity turns in on itself. Gory wondrousness and the world’s first trained zombie.
Shaun Of The Dead The smash hit, perfectly balanced horror comedy from the team that brought us TV’s Spaced. Simon Pegg is in superb form as the eponymous hero and is surrounded by a wonderful cast of great British/Irish comedy talent. It’s clearly a labour of love made by zombie fans for zombie fans. And bloody gory. If you haven’t seen it for a while, it’s easy to forget just how great it is, especially on the big screen.

Burial Ground This is all Dom’s fault. Are we clear on that? It’s HIS fault. And I’m sorry. I’m so very sorry. I don’t know what to say about this except: 70’s. Dubbed. Crapola. You know exactly what I mean and don’t pretend you don’t!! I already know it’s going to be your favourite. I’m already judging you. Watch out for the “young son.” Interesting casting. Oh Lordy…
